TRANSFORMING EDUCATION IN A TIME OF CLIMATE CRISIS Center For New Meaning educates, curates, and debates with the aim of creating deep ecological awareness and pushing change through climate and environmental education. Evolving as a response to the climate and ecological crises, CFNM facilitates various initiatives that propose new ways of radically caring for and taking action in the world. CENTER FOR NEW MEANING is a platform for new approaches to sharing knowledge and stories about the world in the light of the climate and ecological crises. Evolving from a desire to educate and engage citizens and the bigger systems to take action, CFNM emerges as a hub for interdisciplinary studies and learning. Collaborating with artists, researchers, educators, and curators, we build blended learning experiences that connect cognitive and affective domains of learning. Through corporate training modules about sustainability and climate learning, we hope to enhance climate and ecological literacy across diverse groups of learners in companies that wish to include their employees in the green transition. By cultivating this literacy and challenging learners to reflect on their values and sense of responsibility in the world, we hope to empower them with new knowledge and perspectives that will motivate green behavior and eventually, push for climate action.
