About Central Animal Hospital - St. Petersburg, FL
Central Animal Hospital (CAH) is a friendly, community-focused veterinary practice that offers advanced care and treatment services in two locations in Pinellas County, FL. Our 4th St location is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Pets are family. At Central Animal Hospital, we offer outstanding care that is not rushed & remain open 7 days a week while making sure our staff is cared for and rested by offering 4-day work rotations. Our vets and staff are adored by our customers. What Makes Central Animal Hospital Different? Many vet practices offer basic care and refer to specialists for advanced treatments. We know how scary it is to take your pets to a new facility. That’s why we constantly develop expertise in advanced treatments so your beloved pets can be treated by the veterinary staff you already know and trust. In addition to basic wellness care, CAH offers orthopedic, minimally invasive, and soft tissue surgery, as well as regenerative medicine (PRP, IRAP, stem cell), dental cleanings/extractions/oral surgery, echocardiograms/cardiac workups, acupuncture, cancer treatment, and canine rehabilitation. Our practice is led by Dr Brown who started working at Central Animal Hospital while in college. After completing his D.V.M, he returned to CAH as an Associate Veterinarian in 1990, and in 1998, he purchased the practice from the founder. Since then, Dr. Brown has transformed CAH into a caring, cutting-edge veterinary center that uses advanced approaches to offer clients the highest quality care for their beloved pets. We are dedicated to supporting long, healthy lives for dogs, cats, and even bunnies, hedgehogs, ferrets, some bird breeds, and snakes/reptiles. If you are looking for a great vet clinic to care for your beloved pet, or you are looking for the right place to start/continue your career in veterinary medicine, contact us. We’d love for you to meet our team and experience how we practice pet wellness.
