The Finance Association at Central Connecticut State University is a premier student run organization dedicated to personal and professional growth and understanding of financial literacy. Our core mission is based on tenets of: Finance Fellowship Future Finance: The CCSU Finance Association believes that a foundational understanding of the financial system is an indispensable tool for individual development and success. The Finance Association's aim is to cultivate this understanding not just among members but among the student body as a whole. Our plan of execution in the pursuit of the achievement of this goal centers around a development of financial literacy; specifically the core tenants of personal wealth evolution, portfolio management, and asset allocation. Fellowship: The CCSU Finance Association believes in equity and inclusion amongst not only its members but the finance institution overall. As a community based entity we place emphasis on the principles centering around the importance of networking and relationship development. We encourage and support individuals in their journey through financial education and development. Collaboration with fellow business related clubs is considered paramount as the Finance Association strives to offer multiple perspectives on the economy. Future: The CCSU Finance Association is dedicated to providing a supplemental educational experience in order to ensure individuals have the tools they need to succeed in the future. Working hand in hand with faculty and staff the Finance Association strives to impart students with practical academic knowledge and application exposure that will serve individuals well for the rest of their lives. The Finance Association provides further resources in the form of guest speakers with diverse backgrounds in the business and finance realm.
