About Central Interior Rural Division of Family Practice
The Central Interior Rural Division of Family Practice includes over 40 family physicians from the communities of 100 Mile House, Williams Lake and Tatla Lake, providing service to the surrounding communities of Anahim Lake, Alexis Creek, Tatla Lake, Riske Creek, Lac La Hache, Lone Butte, Canim Lake, Horsefly, and Likely. We operate as a Community Service Cooperative and are part of a province-wide initiative designed to strengthen health care in BC. Our Division is a collaborative non-profit organization funded through the Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC). Together, our members work to improve access to health care, improve the quality of care provided and to improve work/life balance for primary care providers. We work in partnership with First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), Interior Health (IH), local municipal governments and First Nation communities.
