About Centre for Global Development Re/conciliation- CGDRC
Change happens, and shall happen. Nature illustrates. When a seed transforms into a seedling, there is a change. Let us examine what happens during the process. Nature, embeds a seed inside the soil. The seed transforms within the embedded soil and a seedling emerges above the soil. Interestingly, the place and the space remain vertically and horizontally same. Moving forward, the seedling grows into a plant. A major stem grows taller. Branches emerge from the main stem. Branches spread uniquely, mostly laterally. Later, buds emerge. After some days, bud emerge as flowers. Flowers bloom. Over time, flowers dry. Inside the dried flowers contain multiple seeds. Each seed has the capacity to grow through the same cycle of transformation and change. Humans engineer and direct change. Interventions are planned around the natural process. Efforts are made to make the change happen quicker. They may also happen to ensure that higher qualities of seeds are produced. One will find these approaches when scientists try to grow more food grains within a shorter period of time. Vision The Centre for Global Development Re(conciliation) – CGDRC – envisions to ensure that human- engineered change process follow the natural process of change and ensure a sustainable and equitable planet. Mission The mission of CGDRC is to understand and ensure understanding about all factors leading to processes of change. CGDRC believes that human-engineered changes are envisioned to deliver necessities to humans. Such necessities form the development perspectives of national governments’ perspectives and policies. Changes need to be managed. Managing development changes necessitates to factor-in many conciliatory and reconciliatory issues. CGDRC will passionately and scientifically pursue re(conciliation) factors of development changes.
