The Centre for Human Rights of the University of Zurich (UZHR) is an interdisciplinary scientific network with the purpose of promoting and coordinating research, teaching and knowledge transfer in the area of human rights. Since its founding in 2009, the UZHR has become a leading academic institution in the field of business and human rights. ------- Das Kompetenzzentrum Menschenrechte der Universität Zürich (MRZ) ist ein interdisziplinär angelegtes wissenschaftliches Netzwerk mit dem Zweck der Förderung und Koordination von Forschung, Lehre und Wissenstransfer im Bereich Menschenrechte. Durch die Bündelung der Kompetenzen der Expertinnen und Experten aus verschiedenen Fachrichtungen einschliesslich Recht, Wirtschaft, Naturwissenschaften und Politikwissenschaften trägt das MRZ dazu bei, bestehendes Wissen zugänglich zu machen und weiterzuentwickeln. Das MRZ fördert Menschenrechte in der Wirtschaft durch die Zusammenarbeit mit einer Vielzahl von Akteurinnen und Akteuren, einschliesslich Forschungsinstituten, der Privatwirtschaft, dem öffentlichen Sektor und der Zivilgesellschaft. Auf internationaler Ebene arbeitet das MRZ eng mit renommierten Universitäten und Menschenrechtsinstituten zusammen.
