About Centre for Psychology and Emotional Health
The Centre for Psychology and Emotional Health is a well-established practice in downtown Toronto that helps people make meaningful and lasting changes. We have been providing the highest standard of evidence-based individual, couple, relationship, and family therapy since 2003. We are a team of registered psychologists, psychological associates, social workers and psychotherapists in central Toronto who use an evidence-based approach to treatment. We are also a satellite training centre for the Emotion-Focused Therapy Clinic at York University, and offer workshops, consultation, supervision and professional trainings. We are committed to ongoing education and innovation in emotional and psychological health to facilitate exceptional client care and promote best clinical practice. Our therapists have training in many evidence-based therapies, and our therapy approaches are supported by research and custom-tailored collaboratively to effectively address a client’s unique concerns. These include but are not limited to: Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT-C), Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy for Resolving Emotional Injuries (EFT-C-EI), Sex Therapy for individuals and couples, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Based Approaches. We also offer online therapy to residents living anywhere in Ontario.
