About Centre for Rational and Cognitve Therapies

The Canadian Centre for Rational and Cognitive Therapies officially launched in 2012 aims to bring quality training in evidence-based rational and cognitive psychotherapies to Canadian practitioners. Co-founders and co-directors, Drs. AG Ahmed and W. Winogron, together with their colleagues, are intent on disseminating the expertise and insight gained through their trainings at the Albert Ellis Institute to the widest audience possible. The entire CR&CT team focuses on creating and delivering rational and cognitive trainings on assorted topics to a broad range of professional audiences. Trainings for psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, marriage and family therapists, substance abuse counsellors, and others are presented annually. Inquiries and recommendations for workshop topics are welcomed from both organizations and individuals.
