Making music is at the heart of CAMMAC's mission – learning it, playing it, listening to it and enjoying it – our goal is to create a welcoming and cooperative community for music lovers and music lovers of all ages and levels. At CAMMAC, we promise you a relaxing, non-competitive environment, where you can play, meet people who share the same passions, learn from dedicated teachers, and discover new repertoire in our workshops and concerts. Can’t read music? No problem! Pair up with a veteran singer and follow along easily! Our goal is simple: for you to immerse yourself in our musical environment and have fun. No small feat—but we are proud to say new recruits often tell us CAMMAC has changed their lives! EXPERIENCE THE BEST OF WHAT NATURE AND MUSIC HAVE TO OFFER Located on the shores of beautiful Lake MacDonald in the Laurentians (Québec, Canada), the Music Centre hosts participants of all ages from all over the world throughout the year. Our activities include a summer music festival, seven weeks of programming in the summer, a Spring Break camp, a celebration of Bach for the long weekend in May, and a Thanksgiving extravaganza. The Music Centre also hosts corporate retreats, school groups and other private functions throughout the year. ENJOY THE CAMMAC EXPERIENCE ALL YEAR ROUND In addition to our Music Centre, CAMMAC has a presence in the Ottawa-Gatineau, Toronto, and Montreal regions, each contributing to a lively amateur music-making scene throughout the year. Each region promotes unique activities that include workshops, orchestra sessions, masterclasses, sight-readings, concerts and much more. The regional committees are run by a passionate team of volunteers, and newcomers are always welcome.
