Empowering girls in rural and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan to reach their full potential through education. The Centre of Peace and Education is a not-for-profit organization that funds sustainable school places for girls from rural and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. We are combining the national curriculum with a healing program that gives girls the skills they need to thrive in life and be confident when facing challenges. We are committed to providing sustainable educational opportunities through inclusive, compassionate teaching in a safe, happy, and secure environment. A vital factor for the success of our schools is the involvement of the local community, and our goal is to fully hand over the running of the schools to the governing body of the local community within five years of initiation.
