Ceramiche d'Arte Il Monile was established in 1997 as a project by Adriano Ricchetti with the collaboration of painter Sandra Malagoli: a natural union between very diverse cultures and experiences. The initial idea - which remained the common thread up to present day - of developing decorative solutions at high temperature (1200°C) soon became the starting point of the creation of an artist circle in its own right. Many professionals trained at the prestigious CeramicTile School of Faenza found there a place to share their experiences at the end of their working day. From this melting pot of ideas the vision of giving back to artistic tile the nobility that was its birthright was born and later developed. The formula is very simple: good earth, abundant glazing, a lot of heat and a passion that knows no boundaries. Today, after fifteen years since its founding, Il Monile celebrates its role of artist circle by launching a new product line born from the fusion of Il Monile's rich glazing with the splitting tecnique of traditional mosaics, heritage of 'Fragmenta Mosaici' by artists Cecilia and Laura Giusti.
