Cerilon is an international, privately-held corporation, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. The company is focused on developing and managing a portfolio of energy transition, chemical and professional services companies. Cerilon is building North America’s first gas-to-liquids (GTL) facility in North Dakota. This facility will include carbon capture and storage (CCS), making it the first facility of its kind in the world. Cerilon GTL North Dakota will produce high-value liquids, including base oils, ultra-low sulfur diesel and naphtha. Due to the CCS integration and clean burning nature of GTL fuels, the products will be lower in emissions from a lifecycle perspective and higher quality than their conventionally produced counterparts. This project is the first of many and will be developed using best-in-class approaches for engaging with the local community and government, demonstrating deep care for the environment and working with globally-renown partners in project development and execution.
