About Certain Lending
Certain empowers real estate investors to create modern affordable housing by delivering the financial products they need. We are a software platform with a direct lending brand, and we are transforming mortgage finance for this underserved market by opening our technology to banks and lenders. We learned about real estate investors during the U.S. housing crisis. They go through the same process as consumers to get a mortgage and pay a huge premium for debt that will close on time. Real estate investors are not supported by stable capital markets, even though these mortgages are one of the safest and highest yielding assets available. We started Certain Lending to standardize mortgage lending and correct market inefficiencies through software. We created a direct lending company to research, develop and perfect the borrower experience, loan origination, and capital markets features that a successful platform must address. We describe ourselves as the first user of our software, and we are excited to open our platform to other lenders and banks to make a new and better market for real estate investor mortgage finance.
