About Cerveses Bripau

Cerveses Bripau es un projecte col·lectiu però molt personal que s’ha anat fent gran des de els seus modests orígens de homebrewing en un petit taller a Sant Pere de Riudebitlles fins a l’actual microobrador, ideat amb el mateix esperit de seguir experimentant amb multitud receptes en coccions limitades. El nostre objectiu es, a partir de receptes pròpies, crear cerveses naturals i d’alta qualitat que satisfacin les expectatives dels amants mes apassionats de la cervesa que busquen sabors autèntics i experiències estimulants. Creiem en la experimentació, l’atreviment i inclús en la iconoclàstia a l’hora de barrinar noves cerveses i no ens tanquem cap porta a l’hora de elaborar nous estils en el futur. Molta gent ens pregunta que hi fa una microcervesera com la nostra al Penedès, terra de vins. I la resposta esta sota terra: l’aigua dels aqüífers de l’Alt Penedes. Aquesta aigua dura, amb una alta concentració de sulfats i bicarbonats, te unes característiques molt similars a la tant cobejada aigua de Burton-on-Trent (Anglaterra) bressol de llegendàries cerveseres centenàries fabricants de Pale Ales. Òbviament nosaltres la utilitzem sense filtrar i tot i que la seva duresa ens presenta diversos reptes a l’hora de cervesificar, creiem que l’esforç esta mes que justificat ja que dona una particularitat única a les nostres cerveses.
