cFAIR Technologies is a cyber-security firm with leading experts in digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), reverse engineering, lateral movement investigations, accountability and threat intelligence. For more information, see www.cfair.us Founded in 2015 by Derek Cherven, a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner with over 20 years of experience working with state, federal and private entities, Mr. Cherven has assembled an elite team of Security Engineers based on their ability to efficiently respond to sophisticated cyber threats from state sponsored actors and criminal adversaries. Prior to starting cFAIR, Derek spent a year traveling the country visiting various financial and biotech institutions observing security challenges, and becoming aware that current practices were falling short and unable to meet the latest demands in information security. The in-depth investigations that cFAIR has conducted — along with a glance at the headlines on any given moment — confirmed what we already knew: Despite spending millions of dollars on the best security products and personnel available, major organizations were suffering devastating breaches, seemingly on a daily basis. And there was no “silver bullet” technology to offer that could keep our customers from becoming the next headline. For us, it’s all about securing your brand, your data, and your people. At the end of the day, hacking and the attacks we see in the media have real impact on people’s lives.
