About CGPills

CGPills was born in 2012 with experience and background in 3D work since 1994 working at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) supervising more than 200 CG short films awarded at major festivals around the world such as London LEAF, Imagine in Monaco, final selection in Goya (3 times), City of Geneva or the Venice Biennale among others. In addition to the UIB, they have been lecturers in animation at universities such as Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Universidade A Coruña and UTAD in Madrid. CGPills has developed different creative projects such as a stop motion short film selected for the GESAMT project by Lars Von Trier, a pilot episode for the 3D series "ISI", Fillingit video games, Mite Madness for iPhone and iPad, applications of success as Rallymeter online training platforms for Orizonia, visual effects for the Palma Film Office, the animation film project “They Are There” for Cartoon Connection 2016 in Canada… Between 2013 and 2015 they worked delivering more than 200.000 VFX frames with a team of up to 30 artists at the highest level for productions like: • 300 Rise of an empire • Godzilla • Maleficent • Wong Kar Wai’s The Grandmaster • Jupiter Ascending • The Hobbit • Insurgent • Pixels • Pan • The hunger games • Batman vs Superman. They have investigated in VR and AR developing simulators and prototypes as well as games and interactive experiences published in Steam, HTC Vive & Oculus.
