About Chall
Chall was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to bring people together through competition. Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen, a former Olympian with the Norwegian ski team, understood how challenges inspire and connect people. This idea first emerged in 2012 and evolved over a decade. During this time, Leif advanced in skiing and achieved academic success, becoming an NCAA Champion at the University of Denver. His journey in both sports and business led him to see an opportunity: a platform that would extend the competitive spirit of sports into everyday life and business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leif spent two years researching, gathering data, and listening to potential users’ needs. This process resulted in the creation of Chall’s first protoype, a platform that simplified hosting and participating in competitions. With a team of co-founders from diverse professional backgrounds, Leif and his partners brought Chall to life. Chall is a community where anyone can create, compete, and connect. It brings the competitive arena right to your pocket, turning every challenge into an exciting, real-world event. It fosters inclusivity, encourages activity, and transforms how we engage with challenges for fun, fitness, or business. Initially focused on winter sports, Chall quickly gained traction with major ski resorts, national teams, and global brands. While its roots in the winter sports industry remain a strength, Chall has expanded its reach beyond sports. Now, the platform serves businesses, organizations, and individuals, offering memorable experiences and engaging audiences creatively. With an impressive pipeline of customers, including major international brands, Chall has begun generating revenue just months after launch. As the platform grows, it continues to attract a diverse range of users, showing that competition—whether in sports or everyday life—can be a powerful force for connection and growth.
