Christopher is a Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney, educated in both the UK and France to Master’s level in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Christopher has over 20 years of industrial and IP experience working across a wide range of sectors, starting out conducting research at Cranfield University before moving on to become a Materials Engineer at Honda Research and Development. In 2000, Christopher made the switch to IP and commenced training as a patent attorney with Withers and Rogers, a leading IP firm, before being head-hunted to an in-house IP role at ICI in 2004, where ultimately he became head of the IP department in 2008, and held that role until leaving to set up Challenge IP in 2014.
