Challenger was established in 2017 by Far North Queensland Australian bus operator Greg Sloan in conjunction with experienced Chinese Australian bus manufacturers. Our aim? To improve the fully built vehicles imported from Asia and ensure they are suited to Australia’s unique climate and operating conditions. Challenger Bus and Coach ensure our vehicle builds, specs and componentry are of the highest quality supported by, and attainable in the industry, ensuring Challenger vehicles are a superior product. We set our vehicle benchmark for durability and longevity higher than other brands on the market, delivering a superior product featuring: • Stalatube - a durable and high tensile stainless steel from Finland, Stalatube is used to construct our bus framework • Compressed fibreglass and aluminium in the vehicle bodywork, assisting in the prevention of body corrosion • Strengthened PVC material flooring throughout, providing the body with long term protection • High performance and known quality key parts and components • Quality welding and sealant finish Additionally, as standard, our vehicles offer: • Mobile eye proximity sensor with 360-degree intelligent system • Fibreglass and alloy panels • Blindspot mirrors and reversing cameras • Alloy bullbar, Stone Guard, Alcoa alloy wheels • CANBUS wiring Telematics, lane departure warning • Cummins ISL engine, Allison transmission, ZF drive train • Large luggage through bins • Flexibility in specifications – from standard high capacity school bus to superior long-distance coaches And for peace of mind: • Challenger offers extensive warranty cover for a period of up to two years, including chassis and body.
