About Champaign County Farm Bureau Foundation
Providing educational opportunities that impact the future of the food and agricultural industry in Champaign County and around the world. This mission is met via our Foundation Scholars program which annual provides over $70,000 in scholarship assistance to students pursuing degrees in the food and agriculture space. Additionally, our Ag in the Classroom program provides agricultural-based lessons to students throughout our county. These programs touch 29,000 students each school year. These free lessons are offered to teachers and schools as a way to augment lessons and meet learning standards. Since our inception in 1985, the CCFB Foundation has supplied nearly 500 Champaign County students with over $1.25 Million in tuition assistance. Thousands of students become more grounded in agriculture each year thanks to our classroom programs, laboratory work and field trips.
