Champions has been operating since 1985 with an emphasis on extreme safety and overwhelming customer satisfaction. As a Houston-based staple in the local trash industry, Champions owns outright all its equipment and facilities, refined systems, processes, and policies. All exceed all the PUD’s/MUD’s requirements. Our brand new five-acre operations and maintenance facility is located at 16025 Hollister Street, Houston, Texas 77066. With a state-of-the-art design and built to FEMA specifications it can withstand a category 4 hurricane and remain fully operational, indefinitely. Included is a 24,000 square foot hardened building containing a 500KW generator and 40,000 gallons of diesel fuel, as well as a secure communications suite. Champions has positioned itself as a fully capable, primary emergency responder in the event of a national disaster or emergency. We own specialty equipment, such as grappling trucks, mobile generators, plasma cutters, and winches to assist in every type of catastrophe. If the PUD/MUD becomes a Champions customer, it will have priority to receive our emergency services. We operate the newest, most efficient and safety-enabled, American-made trucks: (2022-2023) Mack “TerraPro” Refuse Trucks designed for maximum and uninhibited visibility with a flat cab/windshield and no forward hood. For faster service, our unique collection system utilizes brand new Ford F250 Super Duty scout trucks for cul-de-sac trash and recycling collection. These scout trucks are easily maneuverable and cause less congestion in limited turn areas.
