About Chance 2 Dance, (C2D)

Chance 2 Dance is Florida's most inclusive dance organization. Our mission is to provide children, youth, and adults with special needs and varying disabilities equal arts opportunities through a Chance 2 Dance. We envision an inclusive world where everyone has access to movement arts experiences and the resources they need to reach their full potential. We provide genuine, traditional, inclusive, and accommodating dance opportunities and experiences to underserved communities in a safe and sensory-friendly space through a team of specialized and professional dance instructors. The C2D instructors are made up of unique individuals with a passion to promote the arts to a segment of the population that is too often overlooked. Our instructors are all educated professional dancers who are certified in inclusion and special needs training. We provide a comprehensive, results-based dance curriculum that is scalable and can be altered to work with any individual, regardless of ability. Our students' diagnoses include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and a host of other developmental and physical differences. We accommodate all of these differences in a personalized experience of attainable yet ambitious tailored goals that each student can take pride in. Although we started in Florida in 2016, we are expanding to NYC in 2023, as part of our goal to bring inclusive and accommodating programs to communities nationwide. Our Programs Include: * Traditional In-Studio Group Classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Musical Theater, and Combo Classes * On-Site Partnership Classes (Community and Residency) * Performance Team * MOVEZ Program * Workshop / Social Skills Classes * Private Lessons We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
