About Chaneco

Chaneco Orthopaedic footwear is manufactured in Northampton, England – The heart of the British footwear industry. Founded in 1971 by Chris and Angela Hanley, the family owned business manufactured quality uppers for the bespoke Orthopaedic footwear industry for many years before moving forward to produce the Chaneco range of stock and modular footwear. Today the company is run by the second generation. Helen Hanley (Managing Director) joined her father in 1996 and has been supported by Victoria Hanley (Finance Director) since 2004. Together they have built on Chris Hanley’s reputation to become one of the largest Orthopaedic footwear manufacturers in the UK today, currently supplying more than 150 hospitals. The development of the custom made and stock orthotics product range in recent years completes the extensive Chaneco offering for the orthopaedic, orthotic and rehabilitation industry. Products are either manufactured internally or sourced from market leaders around the globe, making the Chaneco range of Orthotic products one of the most comprehensive in the country. Our customer base extends from the largest NHS Trusts, to smaller healthcare companies to private customers, all of which have come to expect the high quality and great service that Chaneco offers as standard. Chaneco Ltd are members of the BHTA and are ISO 14001 and 9001 registered.
