Mission Statement Chapman University's Accounting Society is dedicated to being the medium for bringing accounting students and accounting firms together. We achieve this by providing students with the platform to make connections with recruiters and professionals in the industry. Accounting Society strives to educate students about careers in accounting and foster professional development by hosting a variety of events. Events Mock Interviews Mock interviews are a great way for students to sharpen their interview skills prior to on campus interviews. Professionals from a variety of firms come to the Chapman campus to conduct one-on-one mock interviews. Students will receive constructive feedback on their interview/resume to become better prepared when the real deal comes around! Every semester. Meet the Firms Accounting Society and Argyros School Career Services partner together to host Meet the Firms. This career fair style event gives students access to many different firms in one evening for the opportunity to build a professional network with numerous professionals in the accounting industry. Fall semester. Spring Banquet The Spring Banquet is our annual Accounting Society celebration. We gather together to enjoy great food, honor our wonderful faculty and acknowledge the accomplishments of our graduating seniors—spring semester.
