About Charles Francis Group

Charles Francis Group was founded by brothers Francisco and Roque Romano in 1999. Beginning their journey with their first venue Woodfire Pizzeria and Cucina in Ivanhoe they quickly became renowned in Ivanhoe and surrounds for their distinctively delicious woodfired pizzas, home-made pastas and Italian antipasti and are now a well regarded Ivanhoe institution. In April 2015, Son Of a Pizzaiolo (SOP) in Thornbury was born. Offering the same delicious food, SOP have established themselves as a reputable dining establishment in Thornbury and surrounding suburbs. We have now expanded into catering with Dough Slingers which operates Victoria wide and can cater for weddings, birthdays, work parties and many other functions.
