The Charlottesville Police Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization of local citizens building bridges between our community and the police. Mission: The Charlottesville Police Foundation supports the Charlottesville Police Department in serving every resident fairly and compassionately. We invest in community and youth initiatives, offer wellness, and innovative solutions that encourage transparent communication and community-led collaborations. By placing equity and accountability at the forefront, we foster trust and strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the diverse communities of Charlottesville. Vision: We envision a Charlottesville where neighbors and officers work hand-in-hand to create a just and inclusive community. Through continued investment in equitable law enforcement practices, we aspire to ensure that every person feels safe, respected, and supported.
