As Cannock's longest established independent optical practice, Chase Eyecare Opticians offer a comprehensive range of quality products and services. We are the only practice in the area offering Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) which is a scan which allows us to see a 3D image of your eye. This means we can see beneath the surface, and diagnose a number of serious conditions in their earliest stages. For a number of years we have been able to photograph the back of your eye making the record of your ocular health much more accurate. With the new 3D scan we still have the photograph but now we also have a three dimensional cross section of the back of your eye. The scan is non-invasive, painless, simple and quick. The information it gives us is invaluable picking up the most subtle changes to your retina, allowing early diagnosis of a number of serious conditions, including glaucoma and macular degeneration. When you visit our practice for a regular eye test, your eyes will be examined by a fully qualified optical practitioner. We will discuss your individual needs, answer your questions and advise you on keeping your vision in the best possible condition. Should you need glasses or contact lenses, you'll be given a full explanation of the different options available and the costs involved.
