chasen matcha bar is a matcha-only café located in oak cliff, a historic neighborhood in south dallas. we are a pop-up concept with a permanent storefront, open weekends only since may 2024. inspired by the cafés on the east and west coast, we saw there wasn’t a big market for matcha-only spots. with this idea, we wanted to bring that to dallas. our goal is to make people appreciate matcha, make it approachable to those who aren’t familiar, and make it fun. we want chasen to be a comfortable and enjoyable matcha experience for everyone, whether it’s their first time trying matcha or their hundredth.
