When you need high quality, compassionate medical care, let our experienced house call physicians, nurse practitioners, and care team bring the doctor’s office to you. Checkup Medical is a new multi-disciplinary group in Lafayette, LA, made up of physicians, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurses and support staff who provide house calls, care coordination and transitional care visits to patients in the comfort and safety of their homes. Initial in-home consultations are conducted by one of our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, and typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. This extra time spent directly with patients in their homes allows us to evaluate and treat the full scope of the patient’s disease state, including social and economic factors that significantly impact treatment outcomes.
