Chef It Up, Inc. & Chef It Up 2 Go and its slogan “Where Kids & Food Are a Great Mix” is a trademarked corporation with peanut free/tree nut free Chef It Up facilities as well as a Chef It Up 2 Go travel team franchise that operate in NJ; Fl; CA & TX. The Corporation began from the idea of Lisa Tirone, entrepreneur and mother of 3. With the love of cooking alongside her grandmothers, mom & family and her first child being diagnosed with peanut and tree nut allergies Lisa created and opens the first Chef It Up party place to the public in January of 2003. Here children enjoyed totally nut free cooking parties where they were the master chefs of their own culinary cuisines preparing some fun foods & drinks. Soon afterwards, Chef It Up 2 Go was created which are the travel teams that bring a fun-filled approach to children of all ages wherein cooking classes are offered after school and through school enrichment programs and are brought to schools, organizations, recreation centers and any location of the customer’s choice and operate within designated areas. All of our Chef It Up 2 Go cooking programs are also peanut and tree-nut free and teach kitchen basics like chopping, measuring, mixing to name a few and promotes healthy eating habits all while having kids have fun with their food either in class or bring home to cook up.
