About Chef Revival®️, A Division of John Ritzenthaler Company
Revive Your Kitchen with Chef Revival. Chef Revival was founded 1986 in Australia by two enterprising chefs as a way to earn extra income and satisfy a need for more comfortable and functional kitchen apparel. With a $50 sewing machine, a roll of fabric and an $8,000 loan the company began making aprons and apparel for their own use and sale to other chefs. “Designed by Chefs for Chefs” has been Chef Revival’s motto since the beginning. Chef Revival’s roots stretch even further back to 1892, when its parent company was founded in New York City. John Ritzenthaler Company started out as an importer of the highest quality cleaning cloths from Belgium which were branded “RITZ Cloths” and sold only to better department stores and fine specialty retailers. In 2018, Chef Revival was acquired by John Ritzenthaler Company for its exceptional quality apparel and highly respected name, making the line a one stop shop for all kitchen textiles. The Chef Revival brand supplies top quality chef apparel and aprons to the foodservice industry. Chef Revival products are designed by chefs for chefs just like themselves who understand the unique needs and challenges of the industry. This expertise allows them to develop products that will help chefs look and perform at their very best. Chef Revival aprons and chef apparel products are made of top quality materials that are also comfortable and durable. The chef coats, shirts, pants and aprons are made to allow superior comfort and dexterity to be able to withstand long hours in a busy restaurant setting. When chefs don’t have to worry about what they are wearing, they then can focus on what really matters – creating delicious cuisine. Chef Revival is the Industry Standard for Professional Kitchen Textiles™
