Chelsea Academy is an Outstanding, World Class School, sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We are a warm, friendly and inclusive school with a strong Christian ethos and have a track record of excellent examination success and first class staff development. We combine traditional values and high standards with an innovative approach to learning and teaching and a strong commitment to staff development. The Academy’s specialism is the sciences and we also offer 10% of our places to students with a musical aptitude. Visitors to the school have consistently commented on the high standards of behaviour, enthusiasm for learning and confidence of our students, as well as the Academy’s stunning brand new £43m building. We are currently graded outstanding by Ofsted and SIAMS, are a World Class School and a member of the SSAT Leading Edge network. In the summer we achieved our best ever GCSE results in terms of both progress and attainment. However, we are much more than a successful, academically focused school. We believe in educating the whole child and our Christian values of joy, perseverance, servant leadership, charity and forgiveness underpin everything we stand for. It is important that all of our staff, whether they are teachers or not, work closely with our young people and ensure that they are successful in all that they do.
