About Chemical Compliance Systems
Since 1983, CCS has provided broad based occupational and environmental safety and health services to public, private, federal and educational facilities. Our Relational Chemical and Product Database (R–CPD), developed since 1985, is currently estimated to contain 75 million data elements for 275,000 chemicals, over 1.5 million chemical and munition products, and over 800 regulatory lists (local, state, national and international). These databases populate our Web-based software. Our first software system, Chemical Compliance Analytical System (C–CAS), was developed in 1997 as a comprehensive cradle-to-grave chemical product container tracking tool that utilized bar code scanning capabilities and incorporated data from R-CPD. CCS has also developed 33 additional Web-based analytical compliance systems. Ten of these modules utilize 44 quantitative "green chemistry, or 42 "green" engineering, criteria, both developed from the ANSI 355 "Greener Chemicals and Processes Information" Standard. These "green modules can be integratee to calculate a "green" lifecycle score as the basis of our Sustainability Index. CCS can also automate company confformance with their industyry sustainability standards, at much lower cost. CCS professionals collaborate with the client to identify their analytical report needs (i.e., functionality) and data input requirements. Pre-existing software and reference databases are then customized to meet the client’s specific needs.
