About Chemistry & Industrial Hygiene
Established in 1987, Chemistry & Industrial Hygiene, Inc. (C&IH) helps organizations manage their risk associated with occupational health hazards by offering a combined expertise of industrial hygiene and ventilation engineering. Our industrial hygiene group specializes in exposure and risk assessment of chemical, physical, and biological hazards in the workplace and community. Our engineers provide expertise in local exhaust and dilution ventilation systems including testing and certification, troubleshooting, and design (new or modification) for controlling gas, vapor, and particulate exposures. C&IH’s staff includes seven certified industrial hygienists and individuals with advanced degrees and educational backgrounds in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, toxicology (DABT), epidemiology, statistical analysis, information systems management, and ventilation engineering (PE). We conduct risk assessment activities utilizing state-of-the-art industrial hygiene practices and exposure reconstruction methodologies including three-dimensional exposure modeling software technologies and our fully-modifiable simulation testing chamber. Over the last 38 years, C&IH has built an international client base that we serve from our office located near Denver, Colorado. We have helped organizations manage industry-specific health and safety hazards related to oil and gas exploration and production, surface and underground mining, alternative energy research and development, health care infection control, electronics and semiconductor production, biotechnology and pharmaceutical production, and various other sectors of technology, manufacturing, and industrial production.
