About Chemlu Developmental Disabilities Center
Enabling progress, empowering individuals. At Maaluh (nonprofit OPWDD), we are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Established in 2003, we have been serving individuals in the Lower Hudson Valley region and New York City for over two decades. Whether you need respite care, community habilitation, day habilitation, individual support services, or pre-vocational support, we are here to help. We also provide a Children's Waiver HCBS services for children up to the age of 21, serving children with multiple disabilities and severe emotional disturbances. Our services for children include respite care, community habilitation, pre-vocational Support and Employment Maintenance Program, community family advocacy, and support services. Our commitment to quality is evident in everything we do. We use evidence-based practices and a person-centered approach to provide the highest quality care and support, and we continuously evaluate and improve our services to ensure we are meeting the evolving needs of the individuals we serve. We believe that every person with a developmental disability deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life and pursue their dreams. That's why we work tirelessly to provide the services and support that make this possible.
