About Chequered Flag Driver Training

Chequered Flag is an HGV / PCV Driver Training School based in Hoddesdon with a depot in Leighton Buzzard. Founded on 16th September 2004 we started off with one location, two instructors and one vehicle. Now eight years later and thanks to the hard work and dedication of the managing director and his team we have two locations, seven instructors and nine vehicles; two articulated lorries, one wagon and drag, four rigid lorries, a 7.5 tonne van and a minibus. Due to the wide variety of vehicles we have we are able to provide numerous courses, the favourite being Lorry Mounted Crane! We have this course accredited under ALLMI which means not only has it recently been recognised by the UK Construction Group (UKCG) the course always provides candidates with some hours of the DriverCPC that they need. As our centres are accredited by JAUPT we are also able to deliver the classroom courses which provide drivers with their DriverCPC. Along with the above we also provide the 'basic' HGV Driver Training; LGV C1, LGV C1+E, LGV C and LGV C+E. Our PCV training includes; PCV D1, PCV D1+E, PCV D and PCV D+E.
