I've worked in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years. I know first-hand the challenges of leadership at all levels. My experience enables me to identify and overcome hidden pain points slowing growth and community effectiveness. My greatest passion, simply stated, is people. I am passionate about the beauty of humanity and the reality we are all created equal. I consistently look for opportunities to invest in others. I love to watch a smile come over someone's face when they recognize their unique value in this world. I am a firm believer that all things happen for a purpose. I look for opportunities to use all I've learned along the way to help individuals and organizations be the best they can be. I know what it's like to get buried in the weeds of day-to-day nonprofit work and wonder why things aren't going as well as they should be. The variety of roles I've held gives me a unique perspective from all levels of an organization. One of my favorite things to do is sit with an organizations founder and listen to the passion they have for what they do. I know some who are so passionate they fund it personally, sacrificially. Walking alongside through coaching, empowering, and guiding them in strategic planning, organizational infrastructure, board recruitment and development, and leading well energize me on a daily basis. I am a firm believer in the power of networking and collaboration. Connecting with others gives me - and each of us - opportunity to grow personally and professionally. I know every connection I make is filled with potential and opportunity. It's up to each of us to find out what the that will be.
