Chess Structural Consultants is a professional practice with experience in all areas of construction engineering. We are an efficient practice offering the diverse engineering skills of Chartered Engineers utilising the latest technology in computer aided design and drafting facilities to compliment our expertise. Commissions have been undertaken both in the UK and overseas, with scale ranging from the very small such as self build residential internal alterations to multi million Pound developments such as new entertainment venue structures. The practice has been in existence since the beginning of 2005 and since then has continued to expand to the point where it now has a broad spectrum of skilled staff available to resource projects of all types and scales. The directors have collectively over fifty years experience in the industry and have been involved in a wide range of projects. Examples include sports and leisure facilities, offshore plant structures, NHS infrastructure, new, refurbished and extended residential properties, tunnelling, precast and pre-stressed structures including bridges, earthquake and blast damage assessments, basements, surveys and party wall matters.
