About Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Development Corporation CDFI
The Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Development Corporation (CACDC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes in Oklahoma. We are a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) constituted under the U.S. Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund). CDFI's play an important role in generating economic growth and opportunity in some of our nation's most distressed communities. By offering tailored resources and innovative programs that invest federal dollars alongside private sector capital, the CDFI Fund serves mission-driven financial institutions that take a market-based approach to supporting economically disadvantaged communities. Like the CDFI Fund, the CACDC is a mission-driven organization that stimulates economic growth among Oklahoma's Native population by providing financing, access to capital, commercial loans, and business training to existing or start up Native owned businesses. We hope to inject new sources of capital into neighborhoods that lack access to financing as we create jobs and economic opportunity to communities who have languished economically.
