Welcome to Flameproof Companies Manufacturers of Quality Treated Wood Products and Distributors of Commercial Building Materials. Since 1971 the FLAMEPROOF COMPANIES have manufactured Fire Retardant and Preservative Treated Lumber and Plywood. What began as a small treatment facility in Chicago has now grown into branches in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Fort Worth, Texas. We were one of the first treated lumber manufacturers in the country to become FSC Certified. In addition to manufacturing treated wood products, we are distributors of Versaroc, Homasote, I joist, Metal studs and more. Our customers benefit from working directly with a manufacturer who understands the time sensitive demands of today’s construction industry. We are able to provide quick turn around and on time delivery on hard to find Fire Retardant and Preservative Treated products. We ship anywhere in the United States. We have years of expertise in the specification and use of treated wood products.
