Chicago Importing Company offers highly-sought Scandinavian and Western European chocolates, candies, cheeses, beverages, specialty foods, and more. We believe that nothing brings excitement to the table like tastes from home and the countries which define our heritage. Founded in 1935 and located in Chicago's West Loop, the company was purchased in 1996 and operated in Elgin, IL for many years. As Chicago Importing Company grew and expanded its lines, we moved our offices and warehouse to Huntley, IL in 2014. We are the exclusive distributor of popular chocolate brands such as Daim (Sweden), Freia (Norway), Fazer (Finland), and Marabou (Sweden). In addition to offering leading products from nearly two dozen countries, we are proud to offer our proprietary collection of gourmet specialties under the Lars Own label.
