About Chicago Tech Circle
Chicago Tech Circle strengthens UIC students’ fluency in data, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies through innovative coursework and direct experience. We prepare students for rewarding tech work using two approaches: 1. A for-credit University of Illinois Chicago course on data + AI that has the option of leading into a semester-long project-based learning experience in partnership with a Chicago company 2. A pathway for students who have developed core skills to work as paid consultants for Chicago organizations on projects that are aligned with their capabilities and offer the opportunity for further skill-building and résumé development.
