About Child Wellbeing Initiative

Child Wellbeing Initiative (CWI) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children with learning disabilities in Osun State Nigeria. Our mission is to empower educators, parents, and communities with the knowledge and tools necessary to support children with learning differences, promoting inclusive education and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. At CWI, we focus on empowering educators, parents, and communities by providing resources, training, and support on neurodiversity and inclusive education practices. Through free training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns, we equip teachers with the knowledge and tools they need to create supportive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of all students. Our core programs include: Teacher Empowerment: Offering comprehensive training on neurodiversity and inclusive teaching practices for educators across Osun StateNigeria. Awareness Campaigns: Conducting awareness initiatives in schools, communities, and media outlets to raise the profile of learning disabilities and promote inclusivity. Support for Children: Providing free assessments for children with learning disabilities and creating personalized support plans that enable them to succeed academically and socially. Advocacy & Research: Leading efforts to influence policies and practices related to the rights of children with learning disabilities, ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they deserve. We are actively seeking global partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations with organizations and individuals who share our vision of a world where every child, regardless of ability, has access to a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering educational environment.
