About Children's Developmental Center
Children’s Developmental Center is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to empower families and improve children’s lives through comprehensive early support services. What started as a grass roots effort in homes of parents with special needs children in 1977, grew into an organization helping over 800 children annually through Speech/Language Therapies, Physical/Occupational Therapies, and Special Instruction. The licensed and certified early intervention specialists at Children’s Developmental Center are trained to assist families and children to reach their full potential. Improving early learning experiences of eligible children enhances their chance for success in school and in life. The Center serves children with developmental delays and special needs in Benton & Franklin Counties of Washington State. While disabilities and developmental delays affect children from every socioeconomic status, race, gender, and ethnicity, 73% of the children we serve are from families who fall at or below 200% of the poverty level. We are passionate about preparing infants and toddlers with special needs...for Life!
