About Children's Eye Care, PC (Michigan)
Children’s Eye Care (CEC) is one of the premier pediatric ophthalmology practices that offer the combination of private practice, academics and clinical research. The practice handles a full spectrum of conditions as well as adult strabismus disorders and pediatric low-vision. There are seven pediatric ophthalmologists, one optometrist and four orthoptists as well as specialized pediatric retina, cornea services and ocular prosthetics at their Children's Hospital of Michigan clinic. The doctors feel the best way to stay on top of current technology and advances are to know it well enough to teach it. That’s why they have a pediatric fellowship program and residents from all four of the ophthalmology residency programs in Detroit come to their clinic at Children’s Hospital of Michigan for their pediatric ophthalmology education. At Children’s Eye Care, our focus is on ensuring kids see their best – whether it’s when they are checking out the tigers at the Detroit Zoo or doing detailed work on a science fair project. Our acclaimed team of pediatric ophthalmologists and eye care professionals offer a “more toys, less tears” approach to vision exams and treatment of common childhood vision issues like amblyopia (lazy eye) at four locations throughout metro Detroit.
