About Children's Recovery Center
MISSION: Our mission is to provide a safe place to complete coordinated child abuse investigations, which offers our child victims the chance to heal and lead productive lives. Our objective is to provide a safe place where children who are victims can receive a coordinated child abuse investigation. The child will receive a forensic interview and medical examination. When determined he or she is a victim of sexual assault and/or physical abuse they are assigned a child advocate who will ensure they are kept safe and that their rights are protected. Our goal is to empower these children and their families/caretakers with the tools needed to recognize the signs of abuse and prevent it. We want to help the children who come to us, progress from a child abuse victim to a strong healthy survivor.
