About Children's Village

Founded in 1976, Children’s Village is committed to the highest standard of educational excellence for every child, embracing best practice and engaging families as partners in children’s learning. Our wonderfully diverse community enriches and inspires us. Currently, 419 children (ages 6 weeks - 13 years) are enrolled-- 89% are from low-income families and 52% have a home language other than English. An independent, non-profit, Children's Village is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)--the benchmark of quality--and has achieved the highest Keystone STARS 4A rating. Our caring, credentialed teachers partner with families to best promote young learners’ growth and development OUR MISSION: Children’s Village is a non-profit educating young and school-age children, current and future teachers, and families. Children’s Village is distinguished by teaching excellence, a comprehensive and holistic framework and its focus on inclusion and diversity. Working together with children, families and the community, we promote a society that is fair, compassionate and economically vibrant. OUR VISION: We envision a society that dedicates the resources necessary to ensure that all children have access to quality education services.
