About Children Today Charitable Trust
At Children Today we are committed to enhancing the lives of children with disabilities, offering crucial support to them and their families and enabling them to get life-changing mobility and sensory equipment. Our aim is to enhance the independence and quality of life of the children we support, reduce social isolation, and enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of them and their families. Our small yet dedicated team is committed to achieving results, helping change young lives every day. We have been helping disabled children get life-changing mobility and sensory equipment since 1994. In that time we’re proud to have made a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people and their families, with families giving us direct feedback on the tangible impact our support has made to their lives. From specialised trikes to wheelchair powerpacks, we know how impactful this equipment can be to a child’s life, reducing isolation and making them more independent. Sadly, however, it is often very costly, so many families are unable to afford it, despite knowing how much it could change their child’s life. We aim to fill that gap and help families get access to this vital equipment through our family services.
