About Chiltern Comets

The Chiltern Comets are a Pan-Disability football team established in September 2024, offering children and young people of all abilities the chance to enjoy and participate in the beautiful game. Formed through the inspiring collaboration of three community-driven grassroots clubs – Risborough Rangers, Haddenham Youth, and Wendover Juniors – the Comets embody the values of inclusion, opportunity, and community spirit. Launched with the shared vision of breaking down barriers in sport, the Chiltern Comets provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where every player is supported, celebrated, and given the opportunity to thrive. Whether facing physical, sensory, learning, or neurodiverse challenges, our players are encouraged to develop their confidence, fitness, and teamwork through football – all while building friendships that go far beyond the pitch. Coaches from all three founding clubs contribute their time, expertise, and passion to ensure high-quality, compassionate coaching tailored to individual needs. Training sessions are adapted, structured, and always focused on enjoyment and personal growth. The Chiltern Comets are more than a team – we're a community. A place where families come together, volunteers make a difference, and football is truly for everyone. We welcome new players, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters to join us on this journey as we continue to grow, inspire, and champion accessibility in grassroots sport.
