About Chioco Design

Chioco Design was formed in 2005 by Jamie Chioco in Austin, Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Architecture. A resident for nearly twenty years, he is concerned with Austin's quality of growth and design. Contributing to the built environment has been a rewarding experience for he and his firm. Their work ranges from the small scale of a private home to the larger scale of commercial adaptive reuse projects and interiors for a wide variety of clients that include restaurant, bar, retail and office owners. While taking on numerous local projects, Chioco Design is also expanding their reach to other communities. They have projects in Nashville Tennessee, Denver Colorado, Santa Monica California and several Texas cities including Dallas, Houston and College Station. Each project offers a chance to respond to a unique set of local design considerations. They are designed to be functional, inviting and honest with an emphasis on the use and combination of natural and man-made materials with carefully considered details. Their goal is to be responsive to the environment as well as the economic landscape with projects that embrace their context. Chioco Design believes successful projects can only be achieved if the collaboration between client, designer, and builder is a shared vision, clearly communicated and precisely executed.
